Bruce White

Creating beautiful artwork inspired by the world around us is my passion.  My passion comes to life at my studio, Wild Mountain Designs and Art, which is located in Davie County’s Historic Farmington Community. I devote myself to teaching students of all ages, seeking to instill in them the love of art while taking notice of the world’s canvas.

Over the years, I have traveled extensively in many states across the United States and in other countries and have found a beauty in the landscapes of every place I have visited.  My wish is that my paintings bring you as much joy as I felt viewing nature throughout the world.  To me, landscapes make a room feel larger and the air seem fresher.

Born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, I have done different types of art for commercial entities such as Anheuser-Busch, Arby's, Big Brothers-Big Sisters, BMW, Cisco, Davie County Arts Council, Dollywood, Duke University, East Carolina University, Fox News, Grandfather Mountain, OBX, Pepsi, Porsche, Ralph Lauren, Seadoo, Super Bowl XXXVI, Tim McGraw/Fail Hill Tour, UNC, US Air Force, US Army, US Navy, Wright Brothers Centennial, WSSU.  I have taught acrylic landscape painting at Forsyth Technical Community College, The Brock Performing Arts Center in Mocksville and currently teach at my studio.

My studio, Wild Mountain Designs & Art also serves as the home of my professional gallery, and serves as the setting for Sip and Paint events as well as  private art lessons.
